Tekken 6: Hands on Review
Review Score:

Tekken has always been a game with the same formula, and after beating a mate of mine, two cosplay girls and drawing with the Namco PR bloke, I can safely say, it’s Tekken.

When the game was announced a while back, I didn’t really care too much about it, as for me, Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2, will always be my favourite fighting game, and if I want to beat the shit out of a leopard man with a cyborg samurai and a tai-quan-do biker, that’s the first game I’ll go for.

Tekken 6 does what every new Tekken game does, gives fan service by adding old characters, improves graphics by a mile, and adds something crazy, in this case, It’s a ‘Rage’ mode (much like a burst mode from Street Fighter, me thinks) and the return of Tekken Force and Devil Within modes. Whether or not Tekken is trying to become something that it’s not with the character levelling and rage mode, I’m not sure, but from what I’ve seen, it’s all good.

Due to the fact that this is Tekken, this review is rather short, and all I can say is that, I might buy it, but it’s not on my top priority list.
