Finally the time has come for the now expected annual Call of Duty release. Black Ops kicks off this week and I am fucking pumped. We are going to cover single player, multiplayer, and finally my favorite mode of all, ZOMBIES!!! Enough of this bullshit lets play some fucking... more.
  • Blacklight: Tango Down Review View Comments CommentsPosted by Craig Baker on November 10, 2023 under Feature, PS3 Reviews, Recent News, Xbox 360 Reviews
Very much to my suprise, Blacklight: Tango Down has been released on the PS3 recently. Released over the summer on the Xbox Live Arcade, Tango Down experienced mediocre success and proved yet again by following in Battlefield 1943 footsteps, that you can in fact offer a decent multiplayer FPS at an affordable price. Crossing over to the PSN now let's see if the game holds up or falls flat. Much... more.
  • Superstars V8 Racing Review (PS3) View Comments CommentsPosted by Craig Baker on October 27, 2023 under Feature, PS3 Reviews, Recent News
Superstars V8 Racing is the newest racing sim from the boys over at Milestone. Milestone in case you haven’t heard of them are responsible for several mediocre motorcycle racers including Moto GP 07/08, Evolution GT, and the Superbike SBK series. However unlike those games, Milestone has decided to release this game via download only on the PSN store for $19.99. Straight away I would like to ... more.
  • Black Ops Hits Torrent Sites View Comments CommentsPosted by Craig Baker on October 23, 2023 under Feature, Recent News
It seems as though yet again, a Call of Duty game has made it into the hands of Internet Pirates just a few short week before the scheduled worldwide release date. Torrent sites all over the internet have been bombarded with leechers trying to get a piece of this sure to be hit game. That, however is not the most interesting part of this story. It seems as though Black Ops developer Treyarch is... more.

There are a lot of big games coming out this month and very few people have stopped to think about what could be coming from the indie games market. Today I was quite surprised by a little game called Fluid. Radian Games is responsible for this futuristic type of Pac Man game. Reading the game description as I downloaded this, I wasn’t exactly enthused, but the second I saw the title screen I wa... more.

Fast paced, adrenaline rush, action packed. Pick anyone of these cliché terms and you would be accurately describing Vanquish, an epic third person sci-fi action shooter from the critically acclaimed game director Shinji Mikami. Mikami is most known perhaps for his work on the original Resident Evil Games. The legendary Mikami worked with Platinum Games, maker of Bayonetta, to bring us Vanquish. ... more.

The WiiWare hit ‘My Aquarium’ developed by Hudson Soft has been released now for the PSN and this virtual aquarium certainly brings something new to the catalogue of downloadable content that we’re used to. This game/app allows players to design and populate a virtual fish tank at will, feed the fish, watch them swim and even poke at them. Let me start by pointing out that ‘My Aquarium... more.

  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Review View Comments CommentsPosted by Craig Baker on October 12, 2023 under Feature, Recent News, Xbox 360 Reviews
I haven’t enjoyed a Castlevania game since Simon’s Quest in 1987. So to say that I was skeptical when I picked up the new Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is an understatement. There were certain things that drew me to pick this game up. The fact that the combat system had been totally revamped was one. The other was that the graphics in the game were so good, and the game was so long that it requ... more.
  • 2010 Hoiday Game Preview View Comments CommentsPosted by Craig Baker on October 8, 2023 under Editorial, Feature, Previews
With the 2010 holiday shopping season edging its way closer and closer, game developers have already begun the mad dash to release all the big triple “AAA” titles we have been waiting for. During this time a lot of my friends ask me what games I will be getting, or should they pick up Medal of Honor or Black Ops. So I thought I would type something up letting everybody know what games I person... more.

Following the success of the now what seems to be the annual “Summer of Arcade” event. Xbox this week kicked off “Game Feast”, in attempt to collect some more of our hard earned money on often fun games that end up severely lacking in the quantity department. In hopes to start the event off right we have been treated with Hydrophobia which sounds more like a mental illness than a game ... more.

  • Abaddon: Retribution Review View Comments CommentsPosted by Craig Baker on September 22, 2023 under Feature, Xbox 360 Reviews, Xbox Indie Games
Abaddon: Retribution is billed as a tower-defense game, but to me, at least, it plays like a twin stick shooter. I suppose if you wanted to get truly technical, Abaddon is actually both at the same time, which is a very good thing, especially when it is two genres so easy to pick-up-and-play with a friend. The “Tower Defense” mechanics for this game come from the capital ship Abaddon requir... more.

Finally the day is here and Mafia II has been released for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Ever since I saw my first glimpse of this game back in August 2008 I was hooked. To say that I am excited about this game is a gross understatement.
